Return and Refund Policy of Meritropics

Meritropics is dedicated to ensuring a transparent and fair experience for all our customers in Singapore. We understand that purchasing decorative items and artworks involves an appreciation for quality.

To maintain clarity, we have established this Return and Refund Policy in accordance with the Consumer Protection (Fair Trading) Act (CPFTA) , also known as the Lemon Law in Singapore. This document outlines your rights and the steps required to address issues with your purchase.

Scope and Eligibility

This policy applies exclusively to transactions conducted within Singapore. We provide a 30-day return window, which begins on the day your order is delivered to your specified address. Our return framework is designed to protect you in the event that you receive an item that is damaged or does not match the product you ordered.

Please be aware that we do not facilitate returns, exchanges, or refunds for situations involving a change of mind. We encourage all visitors to review their selections thoroughly before finalizing a purchase. By completing an order, you acknowledge that you are certain of your choice and that returns are only available for defective or incorrect items.

Reporting Damaged or Incorrect Items

If your artwork or decorative piece arrives in a damaged state or if the wrong item was delivered, please notify us within the 30-day period . You should send an email to contact@meritropics.com with your order details and a description of the issue.

Once we receive your notification, we will coordinate a pickup from your location. Meritropics takes full responsibility for the logistics of these returns; there are no pickup charges or hidden fees for the customer in these instances. We strive to make this process as smooth as possible for you.

Inspection and Resolution Process

Upon the arrival of the returned item at our facility, our team performs a detailed inspection to assess the condition and nature of the damage. This inspection process is completed within 24 hours of receiving the product.

Based on the results of the inspection, we will offer one of the following resolutions:

  • Replacement: If the item is in stock, we will arrange for a new unit to be delivered to you.
  • Refund: If the damage cannot be fixed or if the specific item is no longer available, we will issue a full refund of the amount you paid during the initial Cash on Delivery transaction.

Refund Method and Timelines

Because Meritropics operates on a Cash on Delivery (COD) basis, we do not possess your banking or payment information at the time of purchase. If a refund is required, we will contact you via email to request your bank account details for a secure transfer.

We initiate the refund process immediately after receiving your bank information. The funds are sent via bank transfer, and it typically takes 5 to 6 business days for the amount to be reflected in your account. The exact duration may vary depending on the policies of your specific banking provider.

We do not apply any restocking fees for items returned under this policy.
